Foreign Language Transcripts Edit Mode

The 'Foreign Language Transcripts Edit Mode' improves upon the original 'Localization' feature, giving you the ability to edit translated transcripts in foreign languages. You can fix misspelled or missing words and add any important details you may have overlooked during the video recording.

To begin, select your preferred language from a dropdown menu and customize the entire page's language. If you are new to Localization, follow the steps here - https://help.parmonic.com/article/345-localization-for-global-audiences

The new 'Transcripts' tab allows you to edit the translated foreign language transcripts. These edits will be reflected in the subtitles.

Step 1: Click on the down arrow next to 'Video Settings' and select 'Localization'

Step 2: Click on the 'Transcripts' tab to access the foreign language transcript

Step 3: Choose a foreign language from the left column to view its transcript on the right. Edit as needed, then save your changes.

You can view the edits in the subtitles on the landing pages.
