Difference between AI and Augmented AI

We provide two ways to process videos based on your needs - AI and Augmented AI.

With the AI option, everything is done by algorithms. With Augmented AI a human performs certain tasks that AI cannot.

Your company's account (or your team/workspace account) might have a fixed or unlimited number of AI and Augmented AI credits based on the subscription tier. Here's how you can check what you have.

Key areas where AI and Augmented AI differ:

Transcription quality - we use the most-advanced transcription engines but automatic transcription is not perfect. When you process a video using AI only, expect about 90% transcription accuracy. If you need near-perfect transcription you can use Augmented AI. With this option, your transcript is reviewed and edited by a human, and is guaranteed to be 99% accurate (English).

Glamorization - we define Glamorization as the process of taking a raw video and making it look great (think TV quality) by extracting the camera feeds and visuals (slides, demo screens), resizing them and artfully laying them out on a branded, beautiful canvas. The canvas can even be animated like you see on TV. The goal is to make an ordinary recording shine. Go from dull to delightful.

Glamorization requires video editing that is performed by our team and is not possible with AI, and consequently, is offered as an Augmented AI option. [Read more about Glam here.]

Special tasks and requests - there are many tasks that require human touch and these are covered in the Augmented AI option.

• Custom uploads - fetch a video from a registration page or from a URL.
• Vertical videos - that require an intelligent layout that AI can't handle
• Custom requests like adding new components to a video or fixing it
• Special integrations (On24 imports).

We believe that we can best serve you by being transparent about what AI can / can't do and offer solutions and choices instead of misleading you by saying everything is doable by AI.

Based on your needs and budget, you can choose a blend of AI and Augmented AI options.

For videos longer than an hour, multiply the number of credits above to the video duration (in hours). For short videos (e.g. 10-mins long) or videos that are just a bit longer than an hour (say 1 hour and 12 mins), you can request grace credits during your Happiness call with our team.
