Speaker Detection & Labeling powered by AI
One of the harder problems in AI video processing is automatically detecting speakers and labeling them. If you've used AI-generated transcripts, you've likely seen people identified with placeholder text (Speaker A, Speaker B, and so on).
There are services (including those from Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc.) that can detect speakers but they often get names incorrect.
After years of testing, we are excited to introduce our latest innovation - Speaker Detection & Labeling - powered by our very own recipe. Our multi-modal model overcomes shortcomings in speaker labeling.
This new functionality is designed to enhance the accuracy of video transcripts by automatically identifying and labeling speakers within your videos.
Note: this feature is a big leap from the previous state where AI was unable to label speakers by itself. Our testing indicates that this release is robust but will occasionally miss the speakers. If you need 99% accuracy, please use Augmented Transcript option (which provides human-edited transcripts).
Tip: Optimize AI Speaker Detection
To help the AI accurately pick up speaker details, clearly introduce each speaker and their titles at the beginning of the video. This simple step can significantly improve the AI's ability to correctly identify and label speakers.
Benefits
- Enhanced Clarity: By distinguishing between speakers, the transcript becomes clearer and more readable, allowing you to easily follow the conversation.
- Time-Saving: Manual labeling of speakers can be time-consuming. Our AI automates this process, saving you valuable time and effort.
- Improved Collaboration: For team meetings, interviews, or any multi-speaker content, knowing who said what can significantly enhance collaboration and understanding.
How to Use the 'AI Speaker Detection' Feature
Using the 'AI Speaker Detection' feature is straightforward:
- Upload Your Video: Simply upload your video as you normally would.
- Automatic Processing: The AI system will automatically process the video and identify the speakers.
- Review the Transcript: Once processing is complete, go to review mode and turn on the 'Show Speaker' option in the transcript and the speaker name and labels will show up in the transcript.
