What happens if there are mistakes in the professionally edited transcript?
Parmonic features an AI generated transcript that is 80%-90% correct. However, many of our users prefer to have a human-reviewed, professionally edited transcript, which is 99% accurate and can be added on to your Parmonic account.
Occasionally (in less than 1% of cases) there might be a spelling mistake in the professionally-edited transcript.
If you want to edit a word so that the subtitles don't have that spelling mistake, you can download the SRT file and edit it using Notepad. Here is a help article on how to download SRT files from our engine.
You can then upload the video and this edited SRT file to LinkedIn or anywhere else so that the subtitles don't show any mistakes.
If you want to use the video files with subtitles already burned on them (similar to the option in our tool), but there's a spelling error, here is how you can edit the transcript directly inside of Parmonic.
Keep in mind, you will have to re-create your MP4 with the updated transcript for your changes to take place.
