Setup for Google Analytics 4

For Google tag (gtag.js) Users​

No additional steps are required. The widget will automatically send analytics to GA4 if the client's webpage has GA4 set up on it.

For Google Tag Manager Users​

1. Login to your Google Tag Manager account→SelectAdmin

  2. Prepare Parmonic Container:

  1. Download the Parmonic Container Template
  2. Get your measurement Id which you can get from GA4. Get your GA4 measurement Id

  3. Find and replace the phrase <<Your_MeasurementId_goes_here>>  with your GA4 measurement Id 

     

     
     

3. Select Import Container and upload the recently modified template.

1. Create aNew Workspace .
2. SelectMerge →Rename conflicting tags, triggers and variables

3. Your parmonic folder should look like this:

   

   Publish your Changes.

If you do not have aGA4 Configuration Tag set up already...

1. Create a new Tag
2. SelectGoogle Analytics: GA4 Configuration

1. Add your measurement ID which you can get from GA4. Get your GA4 measurementID
2. Connect theParmonic Event Tag to GA4
3. UnderTags search forParmonic Event Tag and select it
4. Select the newly created or existingGA4 Configuration tag  in the Configuration Tag dropdown.

Publish your changes.
