Setting Up Pardot Integration
Find the Business Unit ID
1. In salesforce, go to "Setup"
2. Navigate to "Platform Tools" > "App" > "Pardot" > "Pardot Account Setup" in the left menu.
3. You should see a "Business Unit ID"
Connect to Pardot in Parmonic
1. Go to "Settings" > "Integrations"
2. Connect "Salesforce Pardot"
3. Enter "Business Unit ID" from above 4. Allow Parmonic app permission.
Only For Pardot Plus plans and above
Create Marketing App Extension
1. Go to "Platform Tools" > "App" > "Pardot" > "Marketing App Extension"
2. Click New
3. Enter following details
Name of extension = Parmonic
API name = Parmonic
Description = Parmonic app integration
Active in Automations = [Check On]
Add Activity Type
1. Open a Marketing App Extension Record (**Parmonic** Extension created above)
2. Click the Related tab.
3. Next to Activity Types, click New.
4. Enter following details
Activity Type = Video
API name = Video
Description = Activity when any video is watched in Parmonic
Assign Business Unit ID to Parmonic Extension
1. Open a Marketing App Extension Record (**Parmonic** Extension created above)
2. Click the Related tab.
3. Business Unit > Add
4. Enter Business Unit Id to associate
