Creating Private Pages & Protecting Content

Parmonic turns long videos into consumable, short-video stories of key moments. It automatically creates a landing page with this storyline of key moments.

You can make the auto-generated pages private so that only employees of your company can access them. Even if the URL of the page is shared externally, an external viewer cannot view the content.

To achieve this, you will need to enable SSO (Single Sign On). (More info on SSO)

Once you've done that you have two options:

a) Make every page in your account private - please notify us and we will apply a lock in our backend for your account

b) Allow your Parmonic users to make pages public or private on an as-needed basis

Please notify us so we can enable a conditional lock in our backend AND let your team know that all they need to do to lock a page for internal-only use is to add the word "internal" in the URL of the page. This can be done by following these steps.

(1) Go to your video's moments -> Publish -> Web

(2) Scroll down and edit the auto-generated URL

(3) Add the word "internal" (without quotes) and save it.
