How to Edit Thumbnails
Customizing thumbnails in Parmonic is easy. Whether you're updating thumbnails for moments, trailers, or full videos, just follow the steps below.
2) Edit the trailer's thumbnail
How to Change a Moment's Thumbnail
- Select the video from your account, go to the moments tab, and enter REVIEW MODE. Scroll down to the moment whose thumbnail you want to change, click on the down arrow at the bottom right corner, and hit EDIT THUMBNAIL.
- You will get two options to change the thumbnail:
1) Select from Video: Select the exact frame from the video to use as thumbnail by either playing the video and pressing pause OR clicking on the right or left arrow on the timestamp:
Finalize the thumbnail and hit CAPTURE.
You can then crop the frame or zoom in (using the mouse-wheel or with two fingers on your computer's touchpad) to adjust the captured image further.
Click on SAVE
2) Upload: Upload a custom image and hit NEXT.
- After saving the changes, PUBLISH to see the changes live
How to Change a Trailer's Thumbnail
- Select the video from your account, go to the trailer tab, and click on CUSTOMIZE TRAILER THUMBNAIL under the trailer thumbnail on the left side of the page.
- Click on the CHANGE button
- You will get two options to change the thumbnail:
1) Select from Video: Select the exact frame from the video to use as thumbnail by either playing the video and pressing pause OR clicking on the right or left arrow on the timestamp:
Finalize the thumbnail and hit CAPTURE.
You can then crop the frame or zoom in (using the mouse-wheel or with two fingers on your computer's touchpad) to adjust the captured image further.
Click on SAVE
b. Upload: Upload a custom image and hit NEXT.
You will see the new thumbnail reflected in the trailer.
How to Change the Full Video's Thumbnail
- Select the video from your account, go to the Full Video tab, and click on CUSTOMIZE FULL VIDEO THUMBNAIL under the full video thumbnail on the left side of the page.
- Click on the CHANGE button
- You will get two options to change the thumbnail:
1) Select from Video: Select the exact frame from the video to use as thumbnail by either playing the video and pressing pause OR clicking on the right or left arrow on the timestamp:
Finalize the thumbnail and hit CAPTURE.
You can then crop the frame or zoom in (using the mouse-wheel or with two fingers on your computer's touchpad) to adjust the captured image further.
