How to Edit Thumbnails

Customizing thumbnails in Parmonic is easy. Whether you're updating thumbnails for moments, trailers, or full videos, just follow the steps below.

1) Edit a moment's thumbnail

2) Edit the trailer's thumbnail

3) Edit full video thumbnail

Step 1: Click on the Moments tile of the video for which you want to create moments to enter the video dashboard.

Step 2:  Click on "Edit All" under Key moments.

Step 3: Click on the down arrow of the moment and select "Edit Thumbnail".

Step 4: You will get two options to change the thumbnail:

1) Select from Video: Select the exact frame from the video to use as thumbnail by either playing the video and pressing pause OR clicking on the right or left arrow on the timestamp:

Finalize the thumbnail and hit CAPTURE.

You can then crop the frame or zoom in (using the mouse-wheel or with two fingers on your computer's touchpad) to adjust the captured image further.

Click on SAVE

2) Upload: Upload a custom image and hit NEXT.

3. After saving the changes, PUBLISH to see the changes live

Step 1: On the video dashboard, click on "Edit" at the bottom of the trailer module

Step 2: Click on "Edit Thumbnail".

Step 3: Click on the CHANGE button

You will get two options to change the thumbnail:

1) Select from Video: Select the exact frame from the video to use as thumbnail by either playing the video and pressing pause OR clicking on the right or left arrow on the timestamp:

Finalize the thumbnail and hit CAPTURE.

You can then crop the frame or zoom in (using the mouse-wheel or with two fingers on your computer's touchpad) to adjust the captured image further.

Click on SAVE

b. Upload: Upload a custom image and hit NEXT.

You will see the new thumbnail reflected in the trailer.

Step 1: On the video dashboard, click on "Edit" at the bottom of the Full Video module

Step 2: Click on "Edit Thumbnail".

Step 3: Click on the CHANGE button
