Save as image
If you want to create an image from a video so you can use it in another application or edit it further in a photo-editing software (to create custom thumbnails), you can use the following steps.
If you need an image for email marketing, we suggest using pre-generated static/animated thumbnail which has the play button and time on it. [Link]
If, however, you want an image without the play button and time, use the below steps.
Note: Step 3 below works on Chrome and Edge; it may vary in other browsers.
Step 1: Go to the Moments tile of the video from which you want to create images.
Step 2: Click on a moment to preview the video.
Step 3: When the video pops up, play the video to the frame that you want to save as image. Pause the video and right-click (see screenshot below) on the video. Then click 'Save video frame as' and save the file on your computer.
The image will be saved in PNG format.
